Ashley Grimes (the one who played for Manchester United) has been at a number of Alty games this season as a reporter for the Press Association.

He's a very decent bloke who coached Chris Senior & John McAliskey when he was at Huddersfield.

I wouldn't own up to having coached John McAliskey....

Perhaps his United days were slightly before my time but Ashley Grimes to me is a Luton Town player.

Here's his playing record:-

Years   Team   Apps†   (Gls)†
1974–1977   Bohemians
1977–1983   Manchester United   90   (10)
1983–1984   Coventry City   32   (1)
1984–1989   Luton Town   87   (3)
1989–1991   Osasuna   15   (0)
1991–1992   Stoke City   10   (1)
Total      234   (15)
National team
1978–1988   Republic of Ireland   18   (1)
* Senior club appearances and goals counted for the domestic league only.
† Appearances (Goals).

Bloody hell Flynny - Your comment makes me feel old as I can remember standing on the Stretford End when he was a United player.

Let's sign Wes Baynes!!

Saunders had a change of heart and his given him a one-year deal. I too thought he might be a good signing for us.

Wrexham fans are saying that if we want a left-sided centre half to replace Youngy that Williams might be interested after his release.

Look out for him sat on the extreme right hand side( as you look towards the back of the main stand) of the Press Area next season.
He's not as vocal as one or two of the other loudmouths up there ;D
