Agreed,it would be interesting to know how many have been sold, histon say they've sold 600, and I know chester have sold 650
Chester say they have sold 650. But you can't believe what Chester City football club say these days or in the past 20 years

Just looked at the tables on the BBC website and see no sign of Boston, have they gone altogether now?

I don't think they have updated it yet. Have ceefax still got Scarboro and Lancaster joint bottom of Conference North on minus 10 points

£12 is good value compared to those people who pay around £40 to watch the premiership poofs. Though I think Wigan are only charging £15.

Didn't John Bond nearly take Burnley into the conference many moons ago.

Cestrian Alty, you didnt happen to goto North Cestrian did you?
I didn't think Chester is big enough to have a North bit if thats what you mean. I'm more from the centre of Chester at the moment.

Cestrian is someone from cheshire, not chester you pleb!
Since when?

I think you might find that Cestrians also come from Chester-le-Street.

They would be Cestrians-le-street!
The nickname for Chester-le-Street Town are the Cestrians.

I find out that the other week in M.E.N. that North Cestrian is the new name for Altrincham Grammar. I didn't go there but my dad went to Altrincham Grammar.

Plus Telford could surprise a few? I've not seen them play I might add but they are likely to be well resourced I'd have thought?
According to my Witton friend they are a little bit over-rated. But they have got an excellent keeper in Stuart Brock. Telford seem to have a got a reputation of their players diving about and trying intimidate the officials, and with them having a decent support they can influence weak refs  into making decisions towards them.

The most annoying thing is ,just like last season, we do not know for sure which division we are going to be in until the AGM.

« on: May 21, 2007, 12:36:46 PM »
Im probably talking through my pocket here because I backed Exeter at 7-1 to win play-offs. Morecambe deserved to win on the day. But I don't think they are going to last too long in the league if they play some of their mercenries like McNiven and Twiss. I see them being another Accrington when everyone turns up for the first home game. Then they will go back to having crowds of 1500. I don't see the logic of continuing to pump money into a business and running it as a loss all the time.
