I'm a little surprised to see an extra body in the backroom team if we are on a tight budget I'd rather have an extra player than a third coach

I agree.

Are Ian Senior and Alan Ainsworth staying on?

I certainly hope that Ian is still here...top fella and loyal clubman

Ok, well let's see if we keep it on the deck next season and play to Damian's strengths. Somehow I doubt it, but to blame Ranks is pushing it

Amazing how people had so much hatred for a guy who was our leading scorer last season. Sure, he faded at the end but he was clearly playing when he shouldn't have been with back and ankle injuries. He scored some great goals, was an outlet for our ale house long balls from our uncultured play from defence, and personally I am sorry to see him go.

Was on BBC lad

Yes, and BT Sport. I was just looking to see if I could watch it with my lad and support the Club at the same time. Never mind, I had rung the Club on numerous occasions with no answer, so drove round and was told there was a private function on so it wasn't open to show the game.

Does anyone know if they are showing the match in the CSH on Saturday? And the bar open of course.....

Deary me, you lot should be ashamed of yourselves. I've not been on this forum as long as others, but your childish bickering is becoming tiresome and I'm seriously considering binning it.

Why don't you all grow up, and use the forum properly instead of somewhere to score immature points off each other. Any visitor to the site would be shaking their heads.

Really heartfelt message from Tim, and he has paid tribute to all those who helped him as well as the fans who supported him. Nice one mate, good luck in what you decide to do and congratulations on your new arrival.

Personally, I am gutted he was not retained....I thought he was nailed on to be our keeper next season. He had a thankless task taking over from Stu, and he performed excellently.

Beat me to it, I got 2 and 3 and another three went just after me, as many have said a push on the ticket front would be great, it would be nice to hold on to some of the numbers that came to watch in the National League.

Well, I phoned up at 2pm and ordered 2 x Adult and Junior tickets , paid over the phone. By 4pm they had been hand delivered to my house in Timperley...numbered G0004 and G0005. Got to say, very impressed with that level of service....this Club takes some knocking on here but I can guarantee you don't get that level of service from the bigger Clubs. Well done guys!!

Are we to assume that the reserve keeper Williams had also been released?

Wow, that is some cull.

I'm reasonably happy with most of them, though surprised about Deasy in particular. Also gutted for Nicky Clee and big Tom ....though I guess if they missed so much of last season he's gonna need assurances about their fitness ....begs the question whether he would have binned Dens for the same reason if he had not been on contract ??

So, that is essentially a complete new defence needed, only Scott ( and Dens) left assuming that Scott can agree terms. I reckon he'll go for Danny Hurst from Stockport in net, though he has had a cruciate injury which may cloud the issue. No other surprises for me, interesting days ahead

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: ALTY APPOINT NEIL YOUNG
« on: May 02, 2016, 12:49:56 PM »
Well pleased with this appointment, seems to be just what we need and glad to see they acted quickly after the debacle on Saturday. Just seems a shame it wasn't done a few weeks ago and maybe we could have stayed up.

I think Reevesy has gone, for me I really want Clee and Masha to stay in addition to the others who have contracts.Masha will be perfect for this league if he gets back to fitness. At the back, we need replacements for Luca and Griffin who have been bang average the last few weeks. We could really do with someone like Cav in the middle of the park, missed him badly this season. Up front, assuming we will lose Ranks, Reevesy and Crowther we will need a total revamp.

Shout out to Gino and Marcus, they have been excellent for me on loan and they both gave everything in the cause. Really hope Gino makes it, nice lad and with a great attitude.

Don't be surprised if he goes to Salford. He won't be here next season for sure
