Draw due on Monday. Alty in the hat for the first time in 28 years! NL North side Farsley Celtic is the only team from outside the National League. Barnet have to be favourites to lift the trophy but I'll take a home tie against anyone.
Aldershot
Altrincham
Barnet
Farsley Celtic
Gateshead
Halifax
Maidstone United
York
-
Halifax through on penalties
-
The commentators were I think over optimistic when discussing Alty's chances of progression towards the final. Some very tricky games in that list. It will be Gateshead away obviously.

With Marcus D. bagging the winner.

Make that eight teams in the hat ;D

It's a 1 in 14 chance of being Gateshead away - and yet so utterly inevitable at the same time :'(

That would be great because Marcus is cup-tied and his new team would be disqualified. 😉

We have already beaten all of these except Barnet (who beat us) and Farsley (whom we haven't met)
Our home record is much better than our efforts away.
Therefore we want anyone (except Barnet at this stage) at home.
We will, of course, draw York City (Away) and we will win 1-0 thanks to a wayward shot from Tom Peers taken at the Tameside Stadium.

PS. For what it's worth, I think we'll be drawn against Farsley at home.
You heard it here first! 😉

Do you remember what happened last time we met them at Moss Lane in the FAT?

Well, let's see now... Jordan Hulme scored, that's good, and oh, oh no, oh dear. No. No, that's not good. Not good at all...

We've moved on a bit since then! 🙄
PS. That's one of the reasons I opted for them. Revenge!

Everyone will want Farsley. Barnet clearly the best team left in it by a long chalk & were highly impressive in my book when they strolled past us at Moss Lane back in November. Roll on Monday…

Good North West representation in the quarters of the Vase too.
Bury AFC, West Dids & Chorlton, and Congleton all through.

Any chance of a bye?

Anyone at apart from Gateshead please
-
Home draw please and Farsley would be nice.

Anyone at apart from Gateshead please
Surely it's our turn to dump them out.

Anyone at apart from Gateshead please
Or Barnet

An away draw against York City would see us making two trips to the LNER Community Stadium within the space of four days.
-
Home against York would be great.
Stadium will be rocking again.
