This is just a topic for discussion if anyone has any theories.  Reading on the official site that Stafford's win on Saturday was their 6th away win.  We, of course, have yet to win one away.  They are a team I am led to understand with similar resources and a somewhat similar set up with even, an Alty player from last season (Ged Murphy).  What is it that they have done/do in away matches (besides the obvious- score more goals than the oppo!) that we are not doing?  Discuss!

We obviosly have big problems when pressed away from home wheras other teams have better counter attacking options mainly a strong hold up striker to play off which as much as joe is improving all the time he sometimes struggles,only thing i can think of mate.

There is the mindset. Much of sport is psychological and I wonder if we have just got the idea - maybe subconsciously - that we cannot win away. This can affect the finishing - a footballers equivalent of the yips.
