Hard to tell of course from the Oxford commentary, but it sounded as though Elam was key to nearly everything we did going forward, was that the case?
-
He was very good on the ball and did take part in alot of the attacking moves. Only thing i don't get is that he cut inside alot and sometimes ended up on the other side of the pitch. ???
-
He did that at Salisbury as well and you're just willing him to shoot but he dribbles across the entire penalty area andshoots from a narrow angle down our right.
-
Elam was excellent - but they all were and Danylyk was a deserved man of the match IMO
-
We closed everything down. We chased everything. We just don't give teams the opportunity to play they want to play anymore.
-
I think to have a wide player like Elam is a bonus to the side, to also have him able to switch sides is brilliant as it really can mess up opposition defence plans. You know, teams who have right footed left backs...... ::)
-
Elam is sheer class. Booed throughout by the Salisbury fans on Tuesday, I'm sure he can expect the same at Weymouth too, says it all....
-
Danylyk was awesome today, the whole team gave 100%.
Colins finish was top draw. Most players would have skied it over the bar. Young was excellent in defence.
-
only got there for 3nd half but thought densmore played well .
loved the your gunna be here for feckin years song but what about having a you should be beating teams like us to the blue moon tune
-
Danylykk v Murray is where we won the game I think, though of course Col's goal helped! MOTM for me was either Elam or Densmore - both of them terrified Oxford throughout.

Has anyone mentioned Danylyk's shot on the half-volley that Turley saved superbly?

That was a beauty.
