Thank-you Altrincham

As an exiled Gillingham fan, I don't get to see my team very often, aside from the odd away game up this way. I've started coming to watch Alty on a regular basis and must admit I thoroughly enjoyed last night. Luton are the only team to beat us (Gills) on our own turf this season, and watching last night's match I have no idea how, they were terrible.

I really like Moss Lane and you have a great bunch of fans who can generate an atmosphere that would put a lot, if not the majority of League Two clubs to shame. The pricing structure is spot on and the option to go to the bar in the Main Stand before the game and at half-time is brilliant.

I hope to come and see you more often this season, and just wanted to say thanks for welcoming a Southerner and giving me the option of watching REAL football at a decent price.

Cheers

Oh and I had the pleasure of watching The Gills beat Macclesfield at Moss Rose the other week.  ;D Hopefully we'll demolish them in the return fixture too!

Isn't this the point in the thread where someone chips in with some unnecessary abuse to a newcomer/supporter of another team?

Would Gillingham have turned down £37000? I think not.

Always great to hear stories from fans of league clubs who have given Alty a go and enjoyed it. Welcome.
