Unlucky to lose that game as we dominated for large periods in the second half. Plenty of decent approach play but lacking a ruthless killer striker which has been the case quite a few times this season. The amount of times we worked the ball into good areas only to be heavily outnumbered by their defenders was frustrating. Don’t think we are too far away and let’s not forget we are going toe to toe with big ex league clubs here, not the dog and duck. Some of the grief Parky and the players took at the end was a shame, and some of the lads looked totally bemused when their effort was questioned. Certainly no lack of effort from where I was watching.

Joel Senior was my MOM, thought he was excellent

I was moved 4 times in the first half and wasn't blocking any exit or at the front.
It is so sad and this has all come from a letter within the club. The coward should have the bottle to identify themselves. This is killing us. I am not going back until we are allowed over 3k because I am that angry/upset about it all.
That game should have been switched and any others should until this shower of sh*t passes.
The terraces look as if they have had some pointing work done and that's it.
I was told the security is costing us thousands. Really upsetting.

Really poor performance tonight. Never got going, passing was woeful and we never looked like winning. Not sure what the Porter offers that makes him a starter in the team when we have the likes of Ben Pringle on the bench.

Weird atmosphere in the ground as well. Shame that half the ground was closed just when we needed the Golf Road noise most.

Fantastic performance , everybody played well but I thought Tom Hannigan and Connor Kirby were absolutely brilliant. Think Connor must have run the equivalent of a marathon today.

I thought Ben Pringle looked a cut above and I’d be signing him without doubt. He’ll look even better around a better quality of player too. Pringle as the no.10 with Colclough and Kosylo either side would be a decent attaching 3 behind a main striker.

errr... Damian Reeves?

I'll be in the minority with this but I wasn't a massive fan of Reeves. Scored loads of goals but his overall contribution wasn't the best. We've effectively replaced John Johnson and Elliott Durrell but replacing Hulme has been been much harder, which is testament to what a good player he is and how difficult playing at the tip of Parky's system is.

Anybody else having problems with ordering tickets for this game? I originally bought a ticket for the postponed match and then exchanged it for a voucher. When i click on the link for the TicketCo page there isn't an option to purchase tickets for the Solihull game. This option however is available for the forthcoming games against Aldershot, Chesterfield etc.

My thoughts are:-
I was really pleased with the portal to see the game, at half time i changed devices and this was seamless.
The picture was good with odd pauses etc, felt like there was only just enough bandwidth at the game so did buffer a little
Sound was good and commentary worked with the pictures
I was disappointed that the chromecast bid doesnt work (the companys fault), it had been my preference to stream from my phone to a large TV.  What happens is that the company logo and a blank screen only is cast not the game that sits within, its an issue with the streaming provider, as i said earlier other ways to do it.
I'd be interested to know those with proper android tv's or apple tvs found it?


Apple TV had a dark stripe covering a third of the screen throughout the broadcast. No such problem on the iPad. The quality was as stated above, pretty good, but with a few pauses.
