Edit, just realised it was 1996 and not 1990 as in the title.

I think that this was organised via Mike Newlin, who was involved in the club at that time.

If I remember correctly, the team went on the ferry from Stranraer to Larne.

We won 1-0 & I'm fairly sure that Niell Hardy scored the goal.

We played Cliftonville at home in the late 70's () & won 4-1(?).

I can't think of another team outside England & Wales that we have played both home & away?

Thanks TCOIT....that's close enough to my guess of the late 70's, so I'll take that!

Cliftonville were my boyhood club. Last season I went over to see them celebrate their second premiership in a row. They have struggled a bit this season but not half as much as us.
