Much nearer than Alty for me - under half the distance :D

Irrespective of what we all might think about the CSC as a competition, I think this team deserves something to show for their efforts this season and the fans also deserve a bit of silverware to cheer. I wish I could have made it to the game but it's just not possible. However, I hope we are not outnumbered again like last year!
Also, I think there is a small matter of revenge after last year's humbling by the same team. Hopefully we will give it our best shot and beat them this time!

Isn't there also the not insignificant matter of some prize money for the winners of the CSC?
Did somebody utter the figure £2,000?
In the light of the ominous comments regarding financial matters from Messrs. Rowley and Heathcote respectively in last Saturday's issue of the Robins Review, this sum would certainly be welcome.
We will certainly be outnumbered by Nantwich supporters again, many of whom will no doubt be wearing those ever-amusing jester's hats.
Please can we not have a repeat of last year's perfunctory performance (Ryan Shotton excepted).
Surely we can prosper against an even older Darren Tinson, eh, Alty Tunnel Steward?!

Nantwich won 8-0 last night against Liegh Genisis

Leigh Genesis are super-gash!
I think Weymouth's current youthful lineup would probably even take them to the cleaners!

Very good point.

Nantwich have been doing well for a few seasons now, they're probably the same standard as a bottom-half Conference North side. With this being an important competition to them, I'd expect a close game.

They are but beat FCUM 4-2 at Gigg lane the other week, I didn't laugh at this result at all. ;D
