According to posters on conf guide

It sounds like McGurk got stretchered off at the weekend, suspected broken bone at first, but it doesnt seem that serious now. Apparently he's having a scan tomorrow so we may know more then.
Thats what I got from this article.

Please God no
-
It would be bad news. However, we do potentially have the option to move Smithy into the centre and Densmore to right back if he's ready to return.
The defence is not the area which concerns me the most at present in all honesty.
-
I sincerely hope this isn't true.
-
McGurk out for the season. Youngy heading back.
Disappointing, but as said earlier, it's Connors and Johnson we need back and fit in order to pick up points. Even without Young, I think our backline should be okay now that Jospeh has sorted himself out, Densmore is back and Piergianni has been a revelation.

Its a risk you run with when you have loan players in the team...
Thanks Gregg once again and good luck with whatever/wherever you end up

The had not heard anything on this half an hour ago.

From York Paper...
Daniel Parslow is expected to revert to centre-half now for Saturday’s home match with Tamworth, while Liam Darville will switch from midfield to his more natural right-back role.
The sidelining of McGurk, though, leaves City manager Gary Mills with no defensive cover and could mean a recall from his loan spell at Altrincham for Greg Young.
Mills said: “Dave McGurk will not be available for the rest of the season, which is a big blow. We have been solid and not looked like conceding goals and Dave, having missed a few games, had started to look like his old self again.
“We could do with everybody being fit for the final run-in and bringing Greg Young back is a possibility now.
“I will have to think about that this week.”
-
Sh...t >:(
-
On the flip side, if they choose NOT to recall him despite their problems then it may mean that he has no future at that particular club. Their loss, definitely. Could it permanently become our gain?
-
Reading what the York manager has to say on the BBC website today it looks quite possible that York may elect to recall Greg next week - for obvious reasons they would like us to take something from tomorrow's game!

I can understand that
-
According to The Press (York local paper) website, Greg will not be recalled by York at the moment, but it quotes the York manager as follows - "That (recalling Greg for their match this evening)won't be happening but if we picked up another injury tonight then it might be a possibility".
-
Parslow subbed after less than 20 mins following meaty challenge. Lots of bookings and Brabin sent off then took part in fisticuffs with stewards in the tunnel.
-
Send him back - not the player he was!

Send him back - not the player he was!
er no
-
Whilst I agree that he maybe isnt as quick as he was last season,, he is as good as anyone at the back...
-
looked one of are best defenders,i would have him in my team.
-
One of the first names on the team sheet surely.
I'd love him to stay.
-
Most reliable center back without a doubt
-
If the alternative is Williams, on present form it's a no-brainer.
Is Parslow's injury such that a recall is on the cards ? We really DO need Greg on Saturday !
-
Send him back - not the player he was!
You're talkin with you dick out
-
if were going to stay up we need Greg to stay and Lead the defence without him no one seems to communicate back there.... He can also looks calm in comfortable in possession which Williams certainly doesn't
