I've always been of the understanding that Radio Manchester only carry commentary of league games due to the number of league clubs in their catchment area, and they simply wouldn't have the capacity to commentate on the county's non-league teams except on rare occasions.It's the BBC. Granada Reports has just reported on our transfer to full time status and the trip to Bromley.There is no chance Granada will forget the past Alty glories in a long and proud part time existence. You can’t forget something you aren’t aware of.
From their comments (paraphrased) that the team will have NEVER been so well prepared one would think that Alty didn't exist before this season and that our achievements over the past hundred plus years were down to luck with no preparation or planning.
Please let's not allow the history of the Club to be stored away and forgotten.
