Best news since sliced bread or even just bread. I’ll run Mee back to OT to resume his illustrious career there.
Bit harsh, I thought he's been ok since the initial error
I’ve watched his progress through the United academy so based my opinion on that evidence. I wasn’t too excited by his arrival and as the song says, there may be trouble ahead, if we invest in his football future.

I’ve always maintained that Dinanga LOOKS a football player and I kept waiting and waiting for him to get the results I expected. Both he and Jordan haven’t been getting the service they need to thrive on as strikers. The loss of Marriott and Kosylo has reduced our energy and subsequently the speed we move the ball offensively. Defensively I’m convinced Byrne will make a big difference. He’s an organiser as well as an accomplished and still improving keeper.  I’ve faith in the management team finding the answers and move us onwards and upwards.
P.S. just been in Wetherspoons Stretford on my travels and seen Hobgoblin £2.19. Sorry, wrong thread!

It’s going to be very busy on Monday. Please try and help the club out by buying tickets in advance. And tell any friends or family coming to try and do the same
I sincerely hope it is going to be busy. If it’s not it’s starting to get a cause for concern. I’m camping outside the CSH in the hope of getting served without missing 20 minutes of the game.

I have previously touched on the lack of facilities serving the main stand . It's ridiculous that we have to make our way to the corner of the ground for (especially) toilets and refreshments.  I do understand that food and drink can be brought in to the ground by ourselves but toilets should be a given.
I appreciate the away end isn't high on the priorities list but the toilet facilities there are embarrassing.

I heard from someone in the know that Welshgate should be sorted for the next game.
Hallelujah!

Now there's an idea!

I seem to remember Everton doing something similar with those mints (doubtless someone can tell me if they did in 1975).

They did Hugh. The Toffee Girl, a regular feature at Goodison Park, used to throw Everton Mints into the crowd. Health & Safety probably put paid to that tradition.
Bury used to throw black puddings or am I getting confused?

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Dover and Weymouth
« on: August 17, 2022, 12:15:23 PM »
Curiously contrasting fortunes for the two southern relegated clubs. Three games in and Dover have finally remembered how to gain points with one win and one draw, while Weymouth - who came up with us - are rock bottom with three straight losses. Not a good time to be a Weymouth fan.
Weymouth plight sounds familiar.😱

Everyone knows I like Alex Sami as a player, I've said so often enough on this site. He came on for 10 mins or so, and twice opened up the scoring opportunities. I know he gave away a needless foul but we need to get more opportunities in the box for the likes of Jordan and Marcus. Both have proved they can score when given the opportunities and Alex Sami has the ability to open up defences.

If it were me, I would give him his chance on Saturday and take a punt on him. He will bring others into the game, and odds are on that we will get something from his play. I can see Yeovil struggling against him too. For me he has earned a starting place, all he has to do then is make sure he keeps it. We need an assist king and we have one, but he is no good on the bench. Give him his chance from the start, right wing, left wing or interchanging with Ryan Colclough, I don't care. But we need goals quick, and chances. We aren't getting enough to score goals from.
I'm right with you on Sami Steve. He's different class. If he gets his chance and we're wrong fair enough. We'll never know if we don't let him loose.
