1) We have more fans there than they do

2) We will win by three clear goals

3) Two red cards, one apiece

4) Ref drinks Chamomile Tea which leaves the club officials utterly bemused

If we have to rest Duncan once a week I'd do it in this game as Reeves, Mills and Clee should be enough to see them off.  Must however play Clee in midfield not LB as without him and Duncan we have no creativity

Some things we can change some things we can't, there is no way Lee is going to play Duncan from the start every game....even if we only needed to rest him once a month I'd still pick this game.

We all know 90% of what our best team is (Stu, Dens, Havern, Leather, Buzz, Richman , Rogers, Moult , Clee, Reeves, Watmore) with the only debate being around moving Richman in to replace Moult if he's out of form.  Why doesn't Lee just play his best XI - it's beyond me.

                           Coburn

Densmore   Havern   Leather   Doughty

Lawrie       Richman   Rogers      Clee

                   Mills        Reeves

I'd rest Watmore, we don't want to over play the lad or get him injured by some Droylsden thug. Sinnot has said he can't play every game, so how about dropping him in a game that should be relatively straight forward? I'd also start Mills up top as it could be a bit of a physical game on that quagmire of a pitch - and we could do with a bit of height if we are forced to lump the ball forward.

Think Duncan may get rested on Tuesday, as when came off on Sat he gestured to LS that he felt his calf  a little and as pointed out earlier it could be a physical game on a very heavy pitch.

we still have to win the game, don't take that for granted

we should not be resting our best player

if he is injured he is injured and dosen't play

don't be daft Dan :D

it's the BSN, if your worried about physical game on dodgey pitch he would never play!

we need the points

Rest Duncan by playing him in the best line up Lee can put out and then taking him off after 15 minutes when we are 4-0 up?

If the club want to settle for mid table mediocrity then rest Duncan - If, on the other hand the club still have ambitions of reaching the play-offs then you play your best 11 from the off and sub them once the game is in a reasonably safe state.

If Alty come out of the traps on Tues then Duncan and maybe a couple  more can be showered and changed, sitting in the stand by 9.00 pm

I think Sinnott will 'rest' Watmore because he can but we'll win 3-1.
