Title: Shaw Lane moving to new ground.
Post by: Sale Holmfield on June 08, 2017, 07:23:52 PM
In a joint statement, Shaw Lane and Barnsley RUFC have announced an amicable separation and that the football club will be moving to a new ground.
There is no mention of where and when, but surely this can't be for next season at this stage in June, but who knows. Another case of a club who have pumped plenty of money into the playing side of things, but with no regard for infrastructure.

Believe it's for the start of the 2018/2019 season.

They are also flashing the cash and putting together a decent squad for this season.

They should be seen as the biggest threat to us this next season I would imagine.

I think Stourbridge will be the main threat. I know they've lost some players, but they've got decent support and will still have cup money left over.

I think the threat could be Workington.

South Shields aren't in our division.
