Rushden Match Review...
« on: October 03, 2009, 08:26:58 PM »

Just got back from my first away trip for a while..what a solid and professional performance.

The wind made it hard for both teams.  They clearly had the ability to put together some good moves but we were so solid at the back.  When they got through then Stuart had all the answers with some superb saves.

Good support there as well and we got behind them.

Special mention for Nicky Clee who was superb all game, and then also caused mayhem with his throws.

They can have no real complaints...we were worth the win.

That's the difference so far this season, we seem solid at the back and more organised as a unit I feel.

103 is the figure of away fans, great turnout, which was rewarded.

The sort of game where we would had conceded a late deflected goal the last few years. But we are now a proper mid-table Conference side who gets results against the other mid-table side.......though after wins against Mansfield , Luton and Oxford ::)
