Cambridge boss Martin Ling has no new injury worries and is unlikely to change the side that thrashed Forest Green 7-0 on Saturday.

Lee Phillips could be on the bench after recovering from a knee injury.

Altrincham are without injured pair Scott Moffatt and Dale Johnson, while Shaun Densmore is suspended.

Chris Senior could feature on the bench, but Colin Little (ankle) is doubtful and Robbie Lawton and Michael Welch are long-term absentees.

Don't know what he's like off the pitch, but on the pitch, Eddie Bishop was a nutter. Great player but a red card waiting to happen at any given moment.

If Dennis is occupying the intellectual high ground with you, perhaps time for a re-think.

Another thing that made this one of all-time favourite Alty moments was that Kettering had started this game a long way clear at the top. 12 points or so? Or maybe that was how far ahead of us they were? Either way, it meant that a win for us in this game was vital. But as Cult says, we seemed to have thrown it away - Kettering's two goals came within a minute of each other, the second being a terrible howler by Wealands pretty much straight from the kick-off after the first - until our glorious last-minute winner.

My memory is that it took what seemed an agonising amount of time for Ken to put the ball away. He'd rounded the keeper and then had to find a gap between the two covering defenders on the line and I'm not sure he struck it perfectly but it finally found its way into the back of the net. Cue mayhem. I was in the main stand with my Dad and I don't think I'd ever been so ecstatic. It was the moment we started to believe we could win the league.

Who's the Alty player who goes haring towards the goal to the right just after full time? And why?

Not necessary. His eyeline makes it perfectly clear that his mind was already elsewhere.

I also thought their number 3 (Stonehouse), small baldish guy playing left back/wing was absolutely superb. Excellent on the ball (I remember him playing well v Derby too).

I agree, although he was the guy that Johnson had a lot of joy against in the away game and that combination also led to our second goal.

For such an accomplished footballing side, their defending in the first quarter of the game was remarkably bad.

No dig intended at you Leon, just a general view about us these days.

Not taken as one. I just feel that, as poor as our second half performance was, FGR probably had one of those games when everything suddenly clicked. Fowler in midfield for them passed the ball quite superbly. And the third goal was an outstanding strike.

Its weird but I'm not as upset by today as I normally would be. And I think it's because I felt it as more about how good they were than how bad we were in the second half. We were bad though, clearly.

leon lets be honest, most teams are better coming forward than us these days

My point was that I thought they were better than the likes of Stevenage, Kidderminster and Histon, whom I've also seen this season. How FGR are in a relegation scrap on that basis of that display, I have no idea.

Hate to say it but I thought the main thing about today was how good FGR were. Coming forwards, I thought they were the best side I've seen this season and once they'd sorted out their first half defensive problems, there was only one winner. I think they'd have beaten us even if Smith hadn't lost his head.

I was assuming that. Seems not though...

This is some splendidly bitter and one-eyed stuff from the Stevenage commentators. Keep it up, boys!

I think they've been very good, actually. Very fair.

Hmm. My Dad reckoned it was a clear penalty, for one thing.
