Forest Green start off full of confidence and their early pressure is rewarded with a clinical goal by Fleetwood. Alty are looking leggy after three tough games and battle hard to keep the score to one at half time. A rejuvanated Alty side come out and have a real go in the second half. We ride our luck at times but our efforts are rewarded after 77 minutes with a sweetly struck equaliser from Lawton. It's a well earned point and sets us up for three points at home to Crawley on Tuesday.

Being a Rovers fan I hope for an away win however I also want Altrincham to have a derby with Macclesfield next season so I go for

Poor crowd due to a lack of wins recently and an appalling turn-out from Forest Green. Forest Green dominate early exchanges of both the first and second half but strangely for a full time team, they start to die away towards the end.


Hope we start 4-4-2, keep it tight and try to retain possession better!

If you've noticed, since the turn of the year our results against teams have mirrored the first meetings between us..

Edit, just checked. Only our 2-2 draw against Woking has been different.

So, er, Alty 1 FGR 3. We struggle somewhat still a bit leggy from last weeks exertions and the pitch is like a Godsend to FGR.

Despite Fleetwood getting the plaudits it's Rigliogsio we just can't handle (or spell) and at 2 down it seems all over. We pull one back as always but a late Dodgson goal seals it. Bit of a downer as we look at other teams games in hand but things are a lot brighter after Tuesday evening when we  beat Crawley and Farsley and Weymouth draw with each other.
