Seems Dean saunders has fully prepared our team talk for boxing day.

"I never had Christmas Day off except when I was at Benfica and the season closed in Portugal. We are professional athletes and we will be preparing properly as if it is a World Cup match. The players have got to be focussed and we will be ready. Whether Altrincham will be I don’t know' "

Im sure we will be up for it. Get another 3pts on the board and roll on york and wrexham again.

The guys as poor at mind games as he his at managing.I just hope our team run out on boxing day wearing paper crowns from christmas crackers to show humour towards his disrespectful comments.I dont think hes aware that we were also below full strength in the cup games and probably has little or no idea what team or formation we'll play on boxing day.I just hope the games on and we contribute to getting him the boot.....

Naive? On a different planet if you ask me. In the same article he said how they could have scored 17 against Barrow (thats 17, not 15, not 20!)

They will be preparing as if it's a World Cup match though,  ;)

Sounds like the words of a desperate man. Silly really because if they lose he really has put himself in the firing line. Odds on him not being at moss lane on new years day?

I hope he is,as I want him there  :D

What I don't get is how a man of his stature not realize that a team who's record against him is Played 3 Won 2 Drawn 1 aren't a poor side.

a man of his stature

Just what has he ever really achieved in the game though?

He's hardly been a regular contender for world footballer of the year! He's just a moderately famous player with ideas well above his station.
