Chris Denham goal

Hello,

Obviously some of you have decided that York are a "set of c***s" or whatever so I thought I would bring you a little peace offering:

Lovely finish by Chris Denham

Cheers!

noooo.

the steward/GH thing at the end was weird but I think Alty fans got wound up by brodies continual antics. if that lad stayed on his feet he'd be a better player.

looking forward to next seasons outing to YCFC already.

ta for the video by the way - a lovely finish.

Only joking mate, have just returned from an evening in the company of some of the travelling supporters, a most entertaining bunch.

And we gave them CHIPS!

Barney, let that be a lesson to you!!

How do you rate your chances in the play offs?

Last week I was pretty sure that neither luton nor stevenage would win the playoffs but Luton look unstoppable at the moment.  Would i be right to assume you want them to win the title / you'd rather be in the mix with Stevenage?

We have no chance in the play-offs unless we play Rushden who are equally as garbage as we are.

See you next season.

Thanks for the video.......those of us who listened to the commentary by the two radio york tits do not think that was as described a flukey lob where the alty player just threw his boot at a hopeful long ball.

It was however a disappointingly crap goal celebration....loved the york chant while the alty players kissed each other though.

Always liked going to York and enjoyed another good day out with the exception of Brodie who is a grade A tosser. Good caberet at the end in the tunnel as well.

Watch Chris's eye movement. Absolutely no fluke. Many thanks to my Ukrainian namesake for a quality clip - and good luck for the play-offs.

The crowd's reaction seemed a little under enthusiastic to say the least !

Apart from the guy behind the goal who clearly wanted a second goal ?

and the poor lad on the opposite side who must have suffered a severe and life changing trauma given the way his mum had to console him ?

How the goal can be described as a fluke is beyond me. Had it been Wayne Rooney it would have been described as world class finishing ?

It seems the Radio York commentators can't recognise class when they have it served up on a plate in front of them. They clearly haven't seen the other goals Denham has tucked away with similar opportunism.

You already know this but I want to make it absolutely clear that the opinions and comments expressed by Radio York are in no way representative of the views of York City supporters.

If you think they are muppets, imagine how WE feel!!

I thought everyone at York was really friendly and I only hope you don't get promoted so we can play you again next season.  :)

Completely agree with that. Have always liked going to York, its a very friendly place and it's a team that i want to do well (but stay in this league so we get to play them again, no hard feeling like).

Only dampener on the day was Brodie, the kerfuffle at the end and another of the stewards telling us not to wave flags and not liking it when we pointed out the home fans doing it at exactly the same time.

But yeah, will definitely go back next year...  ;)
