According to a small paragraph in today's People, Roberto Martinez is going to make Graham his reserve team manager!! Refers to Graham as a Wigan legend and he was manager when Martinez played for them.

That worries me a lot. I rate Mr. Barrow.  Blimey.

If this was the case I'd like to think we would get a lot of compensation....tho I'd prefer to keep Graham.

Sadly I can't see how we'd be entitled to any...a friendly next pre season maybe as good as we could hope for

Unfortunately I think this will be true as my girlfriends dad works as part of Martinez’s backroom staff and he told me ages ago that Martinez and Graham Barrow are really good friends. He wanted him at Swansea but didn’t go for some reason.

However, the plus if he does go is hopefully we may get some good ties with Wigan and take some players on loan?

Very good point. Not sure how good their youth system is but I imagine we could give some tough experience to a few young strikers if needed.

If Graham does go it would be a great shame. However, we must take the positives from the situation.

Graham has really helped the team to progress during his time here. Also, there was always a possibility he might leave if the right job came along. A man of his experience was always going to be linked with bigger jobs eventually. The point above regarding possible future links with the Wigan youth/reserve setup is a good one and it would be nice if this came to fruition.

Whatever happens, GB has been superb for us these last couple of years and I wish him all the best for the future.

If it does turn out to be true any suggestions for a replacement. Maddog anyone? Always thought Mark could do a good job on the coaching side and I for one would be pleased to see him back at Moss Lane!!

The BBC are saying all the backroom staff have gone from Swansea with Martinez, so not sure whether that scuppers the rumours. I bloody hope it does.

A statement from the club to us supporters to let us know if there is any truth
in this, wouldn't go amiss.Surely as fans we have a right to know if something
is going on & if there is no truth in it,then the club could end all the rumours.
