...if we didn't concede the last minute penalty at home to Darlington?
-
Yes,we'd have 2 more points ;)
On a serious note I personally don't think it would've changed a great deal.
-
I think it would, a win would have brought much needed confidence, turns out they are one of the best teams in the league

We had three decent results followed by the worst result in more than 100 seasons. If Darlington hadn't scored we would be stuck with NY for a lot longer. At least whoever comes in has got plenty of matches to turn things around.
Never mind the team, I don't think many of the fans had any confidence in NY. I'm really hoping for a home crowd behind the players on Saturday. There will be mistakes but the players can do without abuse from the terraces. Go and go and go again. County haven't sold their ticket allocation so we might not be outnumbered.

Spooky deja vu. Coburns error in our last but one relegation season to concede a late goal and draw 2-2 with Darlington. Same question was asked. We went 0-1-9 before Ken McKenna came in, but in vain

Our relegation had nothing to do with McKenna. We/the board gave Heathecote 11 games to pull his finger out but that didn't happen. I saw the past repeating itself last week. And I'm glad NY walked because I don't think the board would have seen it the same way.

Good lord - relegation had a lot to do with KM
He was another that benched Reevesy in favour of hopeless strikers
He had 35 games and cash
He had a hill to climb - but had the resources and time to do it
-
ALL of our managers have benched Reevesy at one point or other. No one has a divine right to play. He should definitely be in the team now though, no question about that.
I remember KM turned round an almost impossible situation after a dreadful start under GH and we came heartbreakingly close to survival on the last day. I'd certainly have him back now, but unlikely given Morecambe's fabulous start.

Things would have been different if Colchester hadn't have scored with the last kick of the game.
That's when things started going wrong.

Nail on head. This for me, home replay, TV cash, a game we would have had an excellent chance of winning and the momentum that would have given us.

Let's move on and focus on the future.
