Title: Lets forget this talk of relegation, money and Noddy Cup Finals for a min...

and discuss the statue of Michael Jackson at Fulham and the interview I have just heard with Al Fayed that said "any Fulham who doesnt like this statue should go and watch Chelsea and go to hell"!

Its nothing to do with Alty but its cheered me up no end!!

good publicity stunt in my opinion.

i'd love a Jackie Swindells or John King statue on that grass verge across the road.

My son's just back from the Fulham game, he has a season ticket there. He reckons the majority of fans just regard it as a ridiculous stunt which will not last long especially as fans are threatening to deface it. Fans generally were taking the pi55 this afternoon, including one dressed up as Jackson who ran up and down the steps. As for Al Fayads comments then what a dick, he may have put Fulham where they are but he'd be wise to understand the importance of the fans to a club. The statue also totally devalues the original one they have of Johnny Haynes.
