Joe was in goal when we played Chester in the cup. Vivid memories of him clearing a cross with a lovely punch.
ta for the clip...

I remember him having a wrestling match with Graham Barrow at the end of the game when Chester were pressing.

Sells cars in oldham, or did a few years ago

Didn't he, allegedly, land an even lovelier punch on a Chester fan after the final whistle....?!
-
Well, if you watch the video there is clearly a Chester fan laid out on the floor at the end we defended in the second half! I reckon he bit off more than he could chew! :D
-
was also a taxi driver in St Helens and he did give a Chester fan a little peck on the chin.
-
He was managing someone like congelton last season I think???
-
And according to Tony Gubba on Sportsnight...
"he once played 7 league games for Wigan"

joe paladino wasnt a good boxer!
he was a big lump but couldnt really hit hard considering the size of him.
look at his boxrec record, hitting fans alot smaller than him and puting them asleep doesnt prove anything IMO

Paladino was a journeyman. Looking at his record admittedly he looks dross and he probably lost his licence due to being stopped so often, or he packed it in for the same reasons. Having said that he has been in with some decent fighters and was probably considered a good test for up and coming fighters. That or an easy opportunity to get a KO on their records, it appears he had a glass jaw, not that I would suggest that to his face!!!

anybody who gets in a ring has got bottle. If we'd shown more of that last season perhaps we'd have made more of an impact. Boxing isn't my sport at all but whilst it's legal I admire those who get t**tted to entertain people. Joe got involved, good on 'im.
