Can I just post my congrats to the team, GH and the whole club!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic today, it really felt like 2 wins with Whalley going off when he was playing quite well and then the keeper getting injured, well with 30 mins to go and at 1-1, just brilliant to go and score two great goals and not only that, but to then keep them out and quite frankly reduce them to look very poor...

It was just like last season at home, with the effort and pressure and WE made THEM fear us!

Senior was fantastic, he looked so dangerous when they went 3 at the back, he latched onto 3 or 4 balls, and with such pace and effort he created some great chances...
Val, Tinno, Shotton and Peyton all made some vital tackles late on, thought they were brilliant!!!

Potts and Logan were all over them

Oh, how could I forget...well done Sedge...Englands number 3!

 :D

Well done Alty, good spirit today with all the injuries etc.

Pottsy was great and considering he still looked ill that is dedication.

Hope the goalie and Gareth make a quick recovery.

look very poor...
There's a very good reason that you were able to do this....it's because we are very poor.
I hope your two guys are OK and best of luck for the rest of the season. The BSP needs northern teams and since we're not going to be there next season I sincerely hope you are.

You didnt look TOO poor going forward in the first half but you looked very poor at the back and you really should have hurt us more with Sedge in net...anyway, like I always say, I'm always thankful that there are some sane people out there who can go on an opposition forum after youve been beaten and wish us luck...very refreshing to hear some sensible words.

I came away from the game in a bit of a daze. I just can't believe we didn't carry on playing our normal game when you lost your keeper. We completely changed the formation, deciding to just lob it forward hoping to get a shot at goal. Why on earth do they do that? It was as if every time a Droylsden player got the ball he thought, "oh god - got to get this ball in the box straight away". The sensible thing to do would have been to carry on working it forward like I know they can, drawing Alty out, and capitalising that way. Although the lad hardly had to make a save - what he did do made him look like a proper keeper.

We entertain Burton on Tuesday night - don't laugh too loud when you see the result.

The best player on the pitch was your right winger, Chris Denham. I let him know that he should have joined us when he had the chance though!
