Alicia Gorey (b. 19th September, 1981) is an Australian news presenter She was the lead anchor for the ABC News in Western Australia. Karina Carvalho replaced Gorey as lead anchor of ABC News in Western Australia.

Gorey was born in Melbourne and made her first media appearance was on Radio National's The Sports Factor. From there she joined the ABC in Mildura. It was a stint as a reporter on Triple J radio that was the impetus for her move to Perth. At the end of 2005 she replaced outgoing anchor Paul Lockyer as presenter of Western Australia's 7pm ABC TV News bulletin.

In April 2008 she resigned with plans to return to Melbourne at the end of May 2008. Later in 2008, Gorey joined as a reporter for National Nine News in Melbourne.

These are all excellent answers, except in one respect...

A clue: something happened that day which hasn't happened since (I don't think) but will be happening very soon. One for Flynny, Cult etc. I'd say.

We have a winner.

Jeff Johnson scored his 100th Alty goal in a 4-5 defeat at Kettering on September 19th 1981. I'm pretty sure no-one's done it since.

I think that puts what Colin Little's about to achieve in its true perspective. I sort of hope he doesn't get No. 100 against Farsley because it'll inevitably be a bit anti-climactic. And if he gets it at Weymouth, then I'd be there to see it.
