For Brentford, going from London to Holker STreet on a freezing November night must have been like the film Deliverance*

Speak for yourself Jimbo, I don't hate them. Fair play to them for an excellent win.

The worst result would have been a draw and our match with them in 10 days time being postponed.
I am all in favour of good Cup runs, but they can have a negative side as they often contribute to end of season fixture pile-ups - which we have fallen foul of several times iin the past. The season we played Everton we were almost certs to win the NPL, then blew it at the end due to playing games too close to each other. And there have been other times since that we have suffered.

We'll take those congratulations as well!

These so called 'big clubs' never learn.

After we beat Vale 4-1 away in the League Shane Tudor came out in their local paper calling us a 'sXXt club' that Vale should never be losing to.

Then before our FA Cup game last night, their chief scout comes out on the radio and tells everyone how crap we are and how we'll probably get relegated!

Big Keith used it as his team talk.

So on aggregate this season that's sXXt club, poor side, useless little Macclesfield 7-2 MASSIVE Port Vale

And we've not played them at home yet.

Well I like Barrow, we've got a history together.

No problems offering the window lickers my sincere congratulations and best of luck for a plum 3rd round draw which in fairness I don't think they've ever had.

You've got to admit the Vale manager has a point................

If you're going to say stuff like that though, it helps if you've not been comprehensively outplayed over 180 minutes on your own turf!
