You are seriously considering missing York v Alty here in the home of the Christmas Card picture scene?

You must be mad, you won't get a better away day this season than that. The atmosphere round town is rocking, the pubs fantastic, the people jolly and the opportunities for a great time boundless.

Incidentally Phil can you recommend any nice resteraunts in York? My mother has for some unknown reason decided to accompany me and my dad over for the game on the 28th so a decent meal at a reasonably swanky gaff post match is now part of the bargain.

I'll send you a brief guide via PM when I have a bit more time, York is full of restaurants these days, they seem to be opening all the time so it's hard to keep up!
