Going away for christmas???
« on: November 25, 2008, 02:48:01 AM »

ok, I should really grow up but.....

my parents have suggested going on holiday over christmas- somewhere sunny and nice - they will pay. Ii enjoy being home from uni, getting to go to all the games for about 3 weeks in december/january.

should i go on a free holiday to somewhere funny, knowing i wont see us play until away at oxford in january???
Is anyone else going away for christnas and going to miss all the matches...

I feel for you. My Xmas is spent either in Scotland or in Buckinghamshire so I never get to the derby matches  :(

A free holday sounds great but really are you not just a wee bit old for holidays with your parents now??

Milk it and watch the games on the net!

As a dad (and grandad) myself, I'm telling you, you can't lose.

When do you ever have enough money to spend on hols? with parents there to tap (they don't mind too much!), it could be a great hol! ;)

PS: If you DO milk it, make sure you do have a great time though as it might be the last time they offer to pay - I've been there to  ::)

Excuses, excuses. Admit it, you're just a part-timer. Having said that, when did you last see a home win? You'd better stay away for a bit longer!

Mmm a long time ago, I was toying with the idea of the Diamonds on Saturday but the Diamonds! really? Can't stand them.

When was the last time you were down Moss Lane and not "working from home" or in some bummers caravan in Wales??

Give it another ten on twelve years, Jim, and ALL the girls you pulled when you were 19 will have been fit!  :D

You are seriously considering missing York v Alty here in the home of the Christmas Card picture scene?

You must be mad, you won't get a better away day this season than that. The atmosphere round town is rocking, the pubs fantastic, the people jolly and the opportunities for a great time boundless.
