Extra numbers bring extra security measures. Surely this is a good thing? Again, if we didn't have them, then there would have been criticism for not doing so.
What's the big issue with having people spend money at the club? These weren't Coalville fans, so how could the segregation have been different for them? They wanted a drink before going to their game. We accommodated then, made a lot more money than usual and nothing untoward happened. Good day all round I'd say.

And how much did the extra security cost the club???
I was there and it seemed to be football fans being football fans, nothing untoward at all. The 'criminal damage' was accidental from what I saw.
Let's ban people coming to spend money at Alty FC. Although if we'd turned them away I'm sure Rowley would have been slated for turning away good money! Can't win some days! Luckily the team seem to be able to again.
I believe the party had security with them and police were free.
I agree that the club needs to report back to fans on this whole thing, we deserve to know the full facts BEFORE any more hysterical social media over-reactions.
It may well be that this was going to be a big money earner with no down side,.. not so sure myself now actually if some brought their own beer?
Ok then if the had police and security with them they were a risk group and i'm surprised if the police were free.
So to matches into the new season we have now had police at the ground doesn't look good does it.
Again Darren, a man of your experience should base views on facts, we dont have them yet do we.
Thats what I hate about social media, half truths and opinions all the time. And I know you are someone who does know his stuff and I respect your views normally.

Very true. Interested to know if Pieman was at the game. I'm adamant he wouldn't be saying such things if he experienced that bar at half time. It was an accident waiting to happen.
Anyway, get in boys. Not a team in this league that will outscore us if we are full throttle. Thought JJ changed it from the bench. Well done lads.
Yes Andrew I was there, a few gobby kids but security and police present and nothing actually happened, having said that it does pose the question was it worth it for what money we took?
I think the club should report back on this before a decision is made to do it again.
I'm told only paying fans got into the stadium and upto £1000 taken at the bar and security in place to keep an eye on things,.. cant see what the fuss is about
I wasn't there today but reading the posts a lot of fans felt uncomfortable withe the behavior of certain fans behavior in the Bar
security? Who was it club stewards who are not SIA licensed.
Money over safety again
I'm surprised you are commenting without knowing the facts and not being present? Very surprised actually.
Were you there?

Even Rocky Robin looked a disgrace today no shirt or shorts on he had gone commando...
Don't even no who was init as i was stood talking to the person who normally does it
Never been a larger case of bigger fish to fry but are you saying that someone walked round the ground yesterday in the suit with no shirt or shorts on it?
We know it doesn't really look like a robin but at least with an Alty kit on it's kind of an Alty footballing mascot.
I've always enjoyed the gag about why does Bungle off Rainbow walk around the house naked all day and then put pyjama bottoms on for bed. This takes it to a new level.
Who the hell thought that was a good idea?
Can't believe I came back up from London for that.
Actually thought we started well and even at 0-1 looked the better side, after that second went in though Stafford strolled it. Games thick and fast so Parky must find a way otherwise we'll be floundering.
As for the off the pitch, the club unfortunately with the new booze rules has learnt a harsh lesson. I'd be surprised other than Witton and Stalybridge if anyone bought that many again this season but think from now on even at this level we'll have to err on the side of caution with segregation. Bottle bar at away end for bigger games perhaps.
