Full time result clearly accessible from the homepage, along with a full match report. Almost as if the new website was launched and advertised as a work in progress that required fan feedback…
thats how it should be Andrew,we all have our part to play.that was why i said about no match day text commentary its was not perfect but it was a good back up when RR went down.I do hope we get something like it back. Now as for RR being on Radio Alty, what is going to happen to the chat room we all use on match days on RR,its something as exciles we use all the time.Even down to JD's jokes.

The chat room will remain, Harold, at least in the short term.

Good old Radio Alty. More than happy to tune in. Does this mean the name Radio Robins will soon disappear?

Good question.

It will still be Radio Robins, we are just changing the media player from Mixlr to Radio Alty.

We will refer to the service as Radio Robins on Radio Alty.

Still going strong at 38:

https://liversedgefc.co.uk/james-walshaw-joins-liversedge-fc-for-2022-23-season/

That could be a good move for him. Liversedge are well financed & should do well in the NPL Premier Division next season.

PSF away at Alton Royale in the early 90s. Never heard of them before or after, and no idea why we played them. It was somewhere around Birmingham I recall.

Great call. We played them to open their new ground, because Jeff Wealands was friends with the Olton Royale Chairman from his days playing for Birmingham City & living in Solihull.
Mark Carter played in that game for us.
This was the first match of the 1991/2 pre-season & played about a month before John King & Graham Heathcote resigned a week before the start of the season.

That's still further north than Alty isn't it?

PS. Just checked. You're correct!
Certainly further north than Saughall! 😂😂

Chesterfield
Notts County
Wealdstone
Barnet
Boreham Wood
Dagenham & Redbridge

are all further north than Maidenhead by my reckoning.

Just shows you what I know! 🙄😂😂

The principle of the point you made was very good, it's just not quite as dramatic as you thought.
It is a weird geographical spread of teams in NL.

Another sh*t National league ref at Wrexham today,

Extra time being played 4-4

Adam Herczeg, who was the referee when we were promoted at Boston.

I have never heard such a stinging criticism of a referee from a manager as Phil Parkinson's after today's game.

Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Actual Signed Players

I would have hoped so.
At any rate a lot fewer than the thirty odd (including loaned out players) we've got on the books at the moment).
PS. I read the article on the under eleven girls team success in reaching the final of their competition. It says altrincham community coach 'AJ' was there. Is this Leitch-Smith and if so, is he staying?
I remember a Morecambe fan saying, when he signed, that he was a good player who was unfortunately made of biscuits.

AJ is the ex Reserve keeper or maybe current

AJ is Andrew Jones, former Alty Youth/Reserve Team goalkeeper, now at West Didsbury & Chorlton. He is an Altrincham FC Community Sports coach, which is why he was at Vicarage Road last week.
Ryan Forde is the current Alty Reserves goalkeeper.

As of yesterday, they still had not been received from Wrexham.
