Good news.  pleased for Truro.  I hope reality strikes them full in the face and their expectations are more in tune with their resources.

Agreed Yorkie,it was by the skin of their teeth.they were given till thursday evening last week, asked for a weeks extention, the league gave it to them,so it was thursday eveing this week ,they put in a letter of intent saying they would have the money by Friday, they then had till friday lunchtime,1200 friday the company that was to rescue them emailed the league and admin to say they would not be proceeding, the admin siad thats game over then they could not get hold of the so called company,at about 1645 friday the nightclub and taxi firm stepped in,it was close to say the least. The players are going to be paid from next week(first since August)

I wonder why Kettering get such leniency from the Southern League?  The St. Neots game is now postponed, that is now three (or is it two?) league and one cup games.  Very generous of the SL to give them yet more time.

I guess they're still a name capable of pulling in a decent gate, I wonder if that has led to the kid gloves?
