Encouragingly, Bill & Ben have admitted that 'no progress has been made since signing JJ'.

And we all know they'd tell us if there had been.

They'd still tell us there had been even if there hadn't been.

Jordan was phenomenal last night, as were Moult and Lundstram who won their battles all night long. Really good away performance that.

Josh Lundstram really stepped up a gear last night. He's got every chance of making a decent career in the game. Also good to see Connor Hampson put in a good shift. I said a few weeks ago that Lewis Walters would have a role to play, and there were certainly some promising signs from him.

Great Result well done to all

JJ The grass is not always greener on the other side. ;D

Only 5 points behind Chester after Gateshead win 2-0

To be on the losing side at Gateshead is unfortunate. To be on a totally different losing side there only 10 days later smacks of carelessness   ;D

It's a dry day in Kettering, so here's hoping.

Just looking out of the window at the sleet. But the good news is it's fine in Kettering. Fingers crossed....

Preview now live: https://www.altrinchamfc.com/news/match-preview-kettering-town-v-altrincham

I've taken over these recently so if anyone can think of anything they'd like to see featured, give me a shout. Want to make them as genuinely interesting as a non-league match preview can be!

It's a decent piece of work Andrew. Only thing I'd like to see is a note of any nearby pubs that welcome visiting fans (the Schooner was the highlight of the day at Gateshead - maybe I should have stayed in there 😂)

Try and ignore the smell, it’s just Weetabix, whose factory is immediately to the rear of the ground.

It's got to be an improvement on the stench from that chicken farm at Leamington !

Probably the most improved team in the league over the last three months. Unbeaten at home since 12th October (though they've only played four home games in that period).

Overall, their 12 league games since that defeat have yielded 5 wins and 5 draws. Their only two league defeats in this period have been by the odd goal away at both Boston and York. That's very decent form.

I'd like to think we could win, but my head says a draw will be a decent achievement.

We should give wage theives like Twiss a load of grief. Blokes who gave of their best to Alty deserve better.

Exactly... Mr Twiss was a great example of an Oxygen Thief during his time at Alty...

He possibly made more money off his sponsorship agreement with Holland's Pies than we paid him.

Spot on Back Roads. JJ gave plenty to us, and was a joy to watch when he was on song. While I don't like Chester or their management, I wish him all the very best. When he plays against us, I'm sure we'll have coping strategy.

Andrew Dawber was as much use as Princess Leiea....
[/quote

That's outrageous, Princess Leia was a courageous and selfless space age warrior leader and role model for strong women everywhere!

Dawber meanwhile was last reported to be at Charnock Richard - a suburb of Chorley - in the North West Counties league - but doesn't appear to have played a game of competitive football since he played for us.   ;)

There was nothing competitive about him when he DID play for us !
