My only concern is that, at 29 years of age, he is obviously an accomplished BSN player BUT appears not to have been up to BSP standard. Therefore, he may not be what we need further down the line.

Forget that get up and stay up nonsense, let's just worry about that when if or when it happens yeh?

If think we need to strike a balance... Some players we sign will be a perfect BSN signing but not cut out for BSP and that's fine but we should atleast be looking for a core group ready for the step up

I wasn't actually suggesting we should PLAY him at centre back - but a 6'2" guy who can boss the midfield AND attack and defend set pieces is quite a piece to add to our jigsaw puzzle.

Jigsaw puzzles fall apart, what we need is strong PLATFORM  ;D

Average strike...  ;D

Yeah, so so.

He does that every now and again. I liked him as a player, will get stuck in. Not a passer of the ball so dont expect many defence splitting passes (although he has been know to) however if you want somebody to get in the way of the opposition and get the ball back, he's your man. Wish we had seen him more this season as i think we could have done with him in the way this season, however he did get injured which didnt help.  I would have kept him but purhaps his passing lets him down at this level but i dont mind as thats not what he's for. Him and trainer were the 'engine room' in the centre for our promotion.
Treat him well.
