Couldn't ask more from players or management.

Promotion next season then!

totally agree here. they gave everything right from the word go. you can ask for nothing more.

Yes you can.
You can ask for ability, skill, creativity, good control....and A GOAL!!!!!

Robbie Lawton got Man Of The Match?????

You must be joking!

His first touch was appalling and he missed one of our best chances.

An average Conference North player.

Yes we could.
One goal.

Promotion next season then!

In your dreams.

Please could you leave the verdicts to those people who actually attended today's match?

ATS,

Here's a slice of realism for you.....you are not getting old, you have already got there!!

At least we have a bakewell tart to look forward to at half-time tomorrow...

Since when was dissent unpatriotic?

Looks like i will be biting my nai;s and waiting for texts to come through.
there is still a very slim chance i may get there though
so lets see tomorrow

Now, there's something that I never expected to see...

....the words "very slim" being used in relation to the gazelle....!

Any chance that you can persuade Anniello Iannone to come out of retirement and play up front for Alty tomorrow....?

I do believe that it is possible to support your team and yet dislike your manager simultaneously.

I can't say that I ever really warmed to John Williams as Alty's manager from 1986 to 1987 but I still followed the Robins loyally during that period.

Oh, and as for that walking publicity stunt, Tommy Docherty, I couldn't wait to see the back of him at Moss Lane!

Wow VofD is back, and suprise suprise he's uprooted everyone in the controversy stakes!

Not entirely sure ignoring the manager will bring success, but of course, some idiots even believe Elvis is still alive!

VofD's other sentiments do ring true, perhaps VofD tomorrow could be a milestone, an opportunity to cheer the team and not jeer the manager?

You fool.

Elvis is alive......and his name is Marcus Hallows.

Very amusing post from VofD.

Rumour has it that the baby wasn'tt there when the picture was taken and only noticed when developed.  Spooky.  Where does it come from?

Ecky,

Did they not teach you Human Biology at BTH then?

Good Lord, have you seen the abysmal standard of the spelling in those messages?

Nead...?

Weak-end....?!

That's Conference South standard writing, in my book.

Who's.

I know that we are all nervous but there's no excuse for sloppy grammar on here!

Yours, the Pedantry Police.

but some things he was terrible on, like when there keeper was taking ages to get the ball, he didn't say anything

You mean, just like Richard Acton did at Oxford United earlier in the season?!

I have a friend who has a (not so little now) son.

ATS,

You have a friend?
Gosh.

6420
they might have 12, if the refs liek he was at tamworth!

The ref at Tamworth had a fairly good game in my opinion. Didn't make any glaring errors as far as I could see.

Agreed, Slade Green Alty.

We cannot always hide our inadequacies behind a torrent of blame at an official.
