He wasn't anywhere near good enough for the Conference, as anyone who suffered that afternoon at Southport would surely testify.

To be fair to Talbs, I really don't recall him having a chance to score at Tamworth.
As we didn't possess any winger that afternoon, there were no decent crosses for him to feed on.
