If we are serious about play offs we need two or preferably 3 new faces in asap

I'd play Richman on the right wing and give serious thought to keeping Clee at left back. It's imperative we maintain some stability at the back.

Sorry I forgot about Simon, how rude of me, yes he should be on the right, I'm not sure about playing nicky at left back at home

I just think, seeing as how we don't have a proper left back, it would be a good idea to stick with a winning formula. I appreciate the reasons why people feel he's better deployed in a more advanced role at home though.

If he is doing great at left back then why not leave him there.

For me he has lost possession of the ball far too often this season when the team have been going forward and everyone has pushed up....one minute we have a promising attacking move and look like we are about to score and then - bang - 10 seconds later the opposition have got behind us at the back and Stu is picking the ball out of the net.

If Jack does go we'll get to see Lawrie in his proper position of striker.  Circumstances have meant he hasn't really been able to start there but he has goals in him as well.

I think this would serve him well actually. Apart from thinking he did well against Stcokport (not sure everyone agreed) up front, for me him playing well has a big bearing on our fortunes. He's an excellent player but some days the game can just pass him by and he can be superanonymous. Hopefully this will be less likely if he's constantly involved up front in the centre of the pitch.

And if he's closer to the goal and gets more chances hopefully it'll help his rhythm and he'll be a bit more clinical instead of trying to walk everything into the bloody net.

Clee is doing great at leftback. I particular liked how he
Cruyff turned Workingtons right winger on the edge our our 18 yard box.

I might be tempted to play a fluid 5-2-1-2

three at the back (Flynn, Lees, Hawes),
Walmsley and clee operating as wing backs,
Densmore and lynch anchoring midfield,
lawrie in the trequartarista role,
twiss and reeves up front.

I'd say that one of Twiss, Reeves or Lawrie need to be put on the bench so that we can bring them on for the desired impact. Starting all three could lead an undesired change in formation should someone get injured. I'd go with Twiss on the bench. 4-2-3-1 with Lawrie getting forward in possession and 4-5-1 when they've got the ball.

                               Coburn
Flynn              Lees          Hawes            Clee

              Walmsley                  Lynch

Densmore                  Lawrie                    Richman

                                Reeves

If we were premier league then yes, but I think we'd be out of position all over the place, full marks for trequartarista though, nice.
