Well done to Watmore for getting away from this tinpot club and signing for a big club Sunderland good luck lad.

Just remind me......which Greater Manchester BSN club went full time professional, and issued a press release trumpeting on about how they were going to develop young talent ?

Name the last player from that club to sign for a top flight outfit......no, neither can I.

Meat and potato pies are good though. Somebody hold ADT's stone up while he crawls back under it.

Sit behind Duncan's dad every match in the main stand and what a gentleman and great supporter of the club he is. Good luck Duncan - selfishly gutted but so proud to have witnessed your talents playing for Alty.

Good luck to Duncan. Hope they teach him how to defend as well as attack. For me he always stood off the opposition too much so if they can get that sorted out his future is going to be very bright.

An undisclosed fee usually means 50p and a kit kat. I hope the club got a decent price for him.

I think the fact that we have already got one of the best 5 centre forwards in the leauge in since he went hints we got something for him

I wouldn't describe this as "dreadful". Sad yes, but Dunc has got what he deserves now and we have a wod of cash!

Wow, first time I think I've heard Sunderland described as a 'nice place'.

The club should have insisted Sunderland play a friendly at Altrincham and include him in the team. I think it would attract a sellout crowd.

There would be 904 here at best.

Best of luck to Duncan, I was hoping for another season watching him but I'll just save the Alty TV compilation to watch when I need cheering up!

Sunderland have been known to take 3,000 to a meaningless friendly
