Title: FC United vs Blyth
Post by: ripleym on October 28, 2014, 10:41:28 PM
Not a great deal of quality on tonight, in a 0-0 played at Bower Fold.

Their keeper is a brute of a man, who likes to rush out and take anything in his path.  Ended the game of their #9 who had to be stretchered off.

Their #7 was a tricky looking winger, but spent most of the evening trying to find his way out of the blind alleys he had run himself into.

Despite not being a big team overall, they were not afraid to put it about, so I would fear for the safety of our lot, and a few tasty tackles could end up with us being afraid to be on the ball and lumping it.

Blyth had most of the possession, so not sure if it was a poor day at the office for FCUM, or if Blyth's position is a false one...

Blyth have improved somewhat of late and it seems that the consensus is that they are in a false position, but will be nowhere near pushing towards the top come the end of the season.

Might be a game that would suit a pernickity ref. Anyone know what Ross Joyce's diary is looking like for the 8th?
