I would have thought the covers have been on this week, this weather would certainly have tested them...

What a brilliant win! This is some run of form we are on...that is a tough place to go and come away with 3 points. Great stuff..onwards and upwards...I think that takes us up to 4th now.

Well done boys, Parky and Neil...and the fans who made the trip. Safe journey home.

My thought at the time was it was never a penalty, nothing I’ve seen or heard since has persuaded me otherwise. I wouldn’t say Jordan dived ( he didn’t), but he certainly threw himself forward off the ground before any contact was made. I’d also agree that the contact seemed minimal, however we’ve had plenty given against us over the last few seasons that were dodgy decisions. There was an absolutely blatant handball in the York game the week before not given as a penalty for us....so this one makes up for it.

Not seen the interview yet but Hancock has done and will always have more of an influence on games than Poole.
On paper Poole is a better player, but in the team he is not and Josh is very much showing people that. His assists and goals are vital to us.

Didn’t think it would be long....

The definition of a good draw is one which both Clubs are happy with. I’m sure this applies here...County will be happy with their home draw against a team slighty lower in their League...Alty happy as we’ve missed all the big boys and got a beatable local team to play on the road, which has been our strength this season.

Bring it on, can’t wait for it. Good luck to Connor too, going up against the team who binned him. Their loss, our gain .

Decent draw that...our away form has been brilliant this season and no reason to be be scared of them.

Big game for Connor..a repeat of his goal on Saturday will do very nicely

£25k if we win this round...stakes are getting very appealing.

And we get:

Stockport away

Plenty of lower level potential opponents left in. I'd prefer to avoid Warrington and Witton, but Dunston UTS, or Marine would be fine for me.

Marine would be nice..get some revenge on Neil Young

Silly question time..does the 15k from winning this round get added to the 9k from the last round...or is it just the 15k?

I realise that’s likely a daft question, but thought I’d ask!

Great come-back and result.

And just how promising is Gabbidon!

I don't believe that I have ever seen anyone move as quickly on a football pitch as Dontai Gabbidon did  for his 2nd goal......ELECTRIFYING PACE!!!

High praise indeed...other than being fast, what’s his game like Brian? I’m hearing good things...you think he may progress to the first team squad?

Fortunately my lad filmed him as part of his normal You Tube coverage and tweeted it to the league earlier! However...I think you’ll find he wasn’t giving us the ‘V’s’....he had both hands in front of his shirt showing 3-2 as he ran along in front of us, taking the piss with regards to the score. Horrible piece of work ...probably miffed at the Snow White/ Dwarf chants he was getting due to his lack of inches 🙂

We deserved something from that game, we really did. Played some lovely stuff, JJ and Dale ran well at them. You really couldn’t tell which was the full time side out there...with the exception of the finishing, which is where it counts.

Support was different class today.

Williams is a decent player. He was decent first time with us at conference level and we shouldn't have got rid.
As for Hancock, I keep saying this but he is a much bigger player as No.10 than people give him credit for. His movement and quick passing is class. He plays closer to Hulme than others do in that position, which supports Hulme and gives him more room. Hulme always scores with Hancock.
Hancock scores and also wins a lot of headers. A very good all round player.

Do you think Hancock is any good as a number 10? I don’t think you’ve ever mentioned it  :)

Haha...considering in another thread you admit to not being there yesterday and listened on Radio Robins! Hancock did have a decent game yesterday, though guilty of missing the target with a free header first half. He wasn’t on his own in this regard as we should have been out of sight at half time, but for me he’s nowhere near as good as James Poole in that position.
