I think we'll win 2-1 after taking an early lead and being 2-0 up at half time. They pull on back after 57 minutes and we end up holding on.

Att: 341 (102 Alty)

They won their last game, at last, so might prove more difficult opposition than initially thought.

Still, I'll be very disappointed if we fail to win this one.

Surely we have the ability to win this one.

2-0 to Alty and we can start to dream.....

Alty finally start to gel as a team and record there second 4-1 victory

a crowd of just 333 (74  hardy souls from Alty getting wet) watch as Reeves Twiss Clee and Brown get on the score sheet

Very tough call for me this one.  Depends whether last week at Boston was a fluke and they go back to being dross or they have new found belief and play like world beaters.

I think it'll be a draw 1-1 which will be acceptable on the balance of play for people who went but unacceptable for people who didn't.

Lynch the scorer with a rocket early doors.

We're the highest placed team without an away win.

What a fact.

Case of poor Boston according to this

Lack of pace upfront, lack of Plan B, and hoof ball

Scrappy 1-0 win for Alty (Reeves).

Isn't it funny how when any team loses, 90% of the time fans claim that these were the problems? Admittedly, on occasion they're right, but along with "no passion" it seems to be the default rant after a defeat.

Away win,  2..1  with a 96th min penalty saved by the great Mr C.      ;)

I think they'll be full of fight with less to offer on the ball than us by far. We're going to make hard work of it - we always do in these situations - but if we just believe in ourselves we've got the ability to win by a large margin. I'll go 3-0 to the Supers.

A very business like 0-3 away win that could have easily been 0-6 but for the home keeper and the woodwork, and the 108 robins in attendance go back to thinking this league is a bit sh*t and we can get promoted.

depending on which alty turn up, we will either win 5-1 or draw 2-2

speaking of great facts.... did you know Tony Yeboah is the only man in history to win back-to-back "goal of the month" awards on match of the day?

Let's be honest everyone should be beating these teams. Despite that I can only see a 2-1 win for us, with 120 fans making the trip.

I'm more concerned they play like wife beaters and we end up with several injuries. Having said that I think we will win 3-0

Richman, Lawton and Flynn are all injured and most likely all out. Danylyk is suspended of course, and apparently Stevie Connors won't be able to play because of some stuff to do with his legal action against Cambridge!  :(

Coburn, Lees, Lynch, Williams, Brown. Densmore, Summerskill, Twiss, Laurie, Reeves.

and a 2 - 1 win for Alty (Lynch and Laurie). 401, 90 Alty fans, really looking forward to this, missed too many games already this season.

Looking forward to it so much that you only want to see 10 alty players on the pitch?  ;)

I reckon your attendance could be about right there. I'll go for a 3-1 away win, reeves, twiss and densmore. Nicky Clee runs them ragged and gets 3 assists.

The formidable Nicky Clee goes without saying eh? :) who again will play a pivotal role

If we have to start Summerskill we could be in trouble. I would take a draw if were struggling for players that much.

I much prefer the name given to him on the team line-up page in the programme from our recent visit to Hyde:

Brain Summerbee.

Alty win 1-0 in absolute shocker of a game. Williams heading home in 87th min from the 30th free kick of the game.

The 80 away fans go home happyish.

PS Is there any cover for the above mentioned 80?

Their forum is great. As far as I can see not a single post mentioning the game tomorrow instead just a load of stuff about Birmingham Citys Europa game and the cricket. We'll win 2-1, 357 with 75 Alty fans.

Nicky Clee just wasnt fully fit after not having a proper pre season,Summerskill is just sh*t! Not the best comparison IMHO.
