That horrible South American bastard should never be allowed to step on any football pitch ever again

I would like to know what they PFA are doing to protect their members from him?  He poses an injury risk on the pitch, wholly unrelated to the game.  The players union have a responsibility to their members to get involved in protecting them from him.

He should, of course, be sacked, but the prem being mostly money he'll get sold on for £50 / £60m, enjoy a nice long break, then carry on in Spain.

what he did was very wrong and he will be punished..........but no worse than punching someone off the ball or giving someone a decent kick on the ankle when the ref and liner are not looking......I think people are over-reacting because the man is an orrible bast**d in the first place

why can fifa examine tv evidence over and over again and make a ruling on this but allow video after video on youtube of players feigning injury and diving when not touched....we know it's going on....a few similar bans for players cheating would quickly stamp this nasty problem out.

maybe an appropriate word for incidents of cheating.

But back to the thread; I do miss it when JL is away. Webmaster supreme!

Yes. Me too.

Got LeTour de France coming to town soon, plenty of yellow bunting, yellow bikes and Le tour related stuff going up.  Looking forward hugely to the biggest event in York since we last played at Bootham Crescent, but I am already feeling fractious and irritable for the Alty season to begin.

Never mind having a go at Lee for a having a holiday in the summer, it's JL who should be banned from hols this time of year.  I say, take his passport away.
