Wow. Congratulations to the club for making this happen!
Welcome to Alty, Ollie, hope you have a long and happy (and productive) time with us.

Potentially a very good signing  , will be interesting to see if he plays on the let or right . Hopefully willl  mean we stick to a back four and wingers as a plan A in most games.

Very good signing and buzzing we have got another wide player, defo needed.

When all are fit we have enough wide players to always play our best formation and get at teams.

Building a very good squad.

Still would like to have another Marriott type CM. Joey Jones has not impressed.

I guess I should say welcome Ollie, seeing as I've apparently just sponsored his away shirt. And I mean it of course. You won't regret this Ollie, Alty is a great place to be right now, and what an exciting signing - this relates to what I said previously about building good relations with clubs like County (who I wish all the best for the coming season).

Meanwhile, I hope we will see a clean sheet some time or other. Still, they do say that attack is the best form of defence. Maybe this Saturday?

What. The. f**k.

That is almost two complete front 4's we can put out that are better than we've had before.

I don't actually know where else I would strengthen right now.

Is what I think might be happening, actually happening?

Trust the process, as they say!... many questioned the club's model as a selling club but we've always taken one step back and two forward. Someone mentioned whether the Brighton model was sustainable in the long term, however they're just about to sign Ansu Fati on a season's loan... so I'd say the majority of their fans are probably enjoying the ride!

If you told us a couple of years ago we'd be able to attract the likes of Olie Crankshaw to the club permanently, we'd have laughed.

Obviously the supplementary investment is a huge factor, too - but we'll definitely need to continue to accept that we won't be able to move up the pyramid as much as some of our players do. I remember when players moving on to bigger and better things was a collector's item at Alty... it felt like there was about a decade or so either side of Lewis Chalmers.

As much as Elliott Osborne has pleasantly surprised us this season, I think the majority of us feel that the next piece in the jigsaw is an absolutely top-class centre midfielder to adequately replace what we've lost in Josh Lundstram.

I agree that an absolutely top drawer right back would be the icing on the cake.

I think Osbourne is fine, getting our loan keeper on a perm contract would be my priority

Keep 20th April free so you can be at Moss Lane where Alty will be parading the NL Trophy.

I will look forward to that too, along with the permanent signing of Ethan Ross, and at least  it will be at Moss Lane and not somewhere out by the M56. :)

I did get a slightly barbed response from my County supporting friend when I mentioned that we had signed Ollie Crankshaw. "He used to be a good player until he was injured and was never the same afterwards," but he wished both "Alti" (whoever they are) and the player good luck and thought he would fit our style of play.
