Good luck to the lads for this afternoon!

Part of me thinks if they're going to throw the kitchen sink at us today it might be an opportunity to hit them on the break. We have players with pace and I reckon it could be an interesting match.

I would probably go for:

                                                                        Coburn

                                                       Smith        McGregor     Young

                            Densmore               Lawton            Danylyk               Doughty

                                                Johnson        Senior        Denham

If Danylyk fails his fitness test, swap him for Hadfield. There's no reason why we can't do what we did at Burton in my eyes. They are 9 points ahead of us and we must start to believe in our ability to earn points away to the big boys.

We seem to be going through a series of very difficult games at the moment.

But I reckon today is a good time to play Torquay, if we score first (in front of their supporters) they will really start to feel the pressure.

It's time to start imposing ourselves on this league, a good result today could lead to a Top 10 finish

Good luck to the lads, I think we may get a 0-0 in a backs to the wall one corner type display.

The more I think about it the more unsure I feel.

I actually think GH has a massive dilemma regarding his selection and he would be justified in making cautious team selections. My above choices are based on waking up this morning full of optimism and are possibly a little bit naiive. However, I genuinely do believe that, for the first time in years, we have a side that can go to places like Torquay and Oxford and compete. I know our performance at Oxford earned praise from some Oxford fans who clearly saw that our approach was a lot more open and accomplished than in previous visits.

You don't get a point away at Burton without having a bit of quality in the team and this should be a cause for optimism.

(Yes I am bored at work, hence the large amount of drivel I've posted so far this morning!  :D    )

I predict that the torquay commentators will completely neglect to mention this lone corner due to talking about some inane Torquay-related nonsense!

Can we put one of Geoff Goodwin's coaches in front of the goal?

Don't let Jose Mourinho hear that, he thinks he has a divine right for teams NOT to do that and go gung-ho !

Jesus that's a defensive line up! It's almost 1 GK, 8 defenders, 1 in mid and 1 up front.

3 strikers and an attacking midfielder on the bench though ;)

Incidently Carlos' brother is getting a run out for City today.

Sorry no it's 6-3-1.  More innovation from GH.

4-1-4-1 formation according to the radio commentators.

Looks like the coach in front of the goal formation to me - and I don't mean the goalkeeping coach!

It was a close run thing between the football and Thunderbirds are Go on Film 4.

In the end I decided to see who would be pulling the strings at Torquay instead!
