The traditionalists amongst us (and I include myself) know it just wont seem right to see Alty playing at home in anything else other than red & white stripes. I can see the obvious commercial benefits of the club being able to sell more shirts of a different colour or whatever though. However, if red & white wins out, this argument/discussion may fade away pretty soon but if its to be red & black, it will rumble on as those who have followed Alty in R&W for years will still want the traditional kit back. Whatever though, we're on the same side

Surely red & black is part of the tradition though? Haven't we had one or two of our famous victories in red & black? 

At the end of the day, it's the way something looks.What an odd perspective to think changing the colour of something is worse than getting relegated!

It's not just about changing a colour,red & white stripes has
been the major traditon for many years.I accept that we have
played in red & black,just as we have played in red shorts
but with red & white shirts.Probably, the worse than relegation
bit, was a little over the top,it was said because I want to see us
win promotion back,playing in the famous red & white stripes of
Alty.
