We have no firm, no lads, no one up for it, and one stone island coat between us.

your aving a larff
just hope its on telly too
-
lol, 90% of us are decent, and the 10% won't get tickets, this will be season ticket holders only.
How many will we get?
-
I reckon it'll be the early Sunday kick off game that they have on BBC.
garth crooks picked it out as his tie of the round .....
3,500 - 4,000 for the game I would hope ? Thoughts ....
-
I think at least 4500 - 5000, I reckon their allocation will be 600 - 800? at least (how many does the away end hold 800 - 1000?) but there will probably be more segregation than usual?...
-
I hope for friday or sunday tv game as the hotel is busy on the saturday
How much would we earn for a televised game?
dont we have to allocate a certain percentageof tickets for away fans (25%)
-
There shouldn't be more segregation, it just depends on how many we sell.
-
Away end is licensed for between 1300 and 1400. Doubt they'll bring that many.
-
Does anyone know what the official ground capacity is now?
We had 3300 for Darlington six years ago and I assume that was a sell-out.
-
About 6100
-
ground capacity is just over 6000
-
A quick glance at the official site and I've been able to answer my own question:
The official ground capacity (2006) is 6,085 which comprises:
Hale (20/20) End terrace: 1,434 - this is the away supporters' end.
Golf Road (Dawn Abbott) terrace: 1,554 - this is the home supporters' end.
Popular Side terrace: 1,774 - this is normally for home support but can be split at various points to allow away support as well.
Main Stand and vicinity 1,133 - not normally segregated.
Family Stand 190 - not normally segregated.

Moss Lane hold just over 6500 I think and they'll probably bring more than you think... They could easily sell out the away end if it holds 1300 - 1400. They must have 5 times that many season ticket holders?
I think a potentially big crowd for this one, the only thing that could prove a draw back is if it is on TV and people choose to watch it at home in the comfort of there armchair!
-
This could bring the most away fans to Moss Lane since... I can't think when.
-
We'll sell 1,300.
-
Brilliant draw.
-
where will it be played lads
is moss lane big enough for a game that big
anyways gud luck
cheers daz

I'd be amazed if it wasn't played at Moss Lane. It depends on what the Police and relevant organisations decide is safe. FA insist that you use your own ground unless there are safety considerations
-
Just got back from a shocking game, but what a draw!
-
What a draw hey, we dont get it easy do we haha,
This game will have a large police presence, as Millwall are renounded for having violent fans, probable not as bad as West Ham, but they have firms of thugs. I would say that they will bring 1000 fans at the most, half of them the die hard vilolent ones; they will feel they should win. However, that wont happen remember we have the best FA Cup run for a non-league side, so this wont be an easy game on any account for them.
Over all i would say one of the largest attendences at Moss Lane for many years i would say at least 5,200.
Come on Alty

if i remember reading on the main site last year, the ground is football league certified (i.e if we get promoted the ground is deemed 'fit' to host games of that level) so there should be no problem

there firm unlikely to travel unless game is on a sat and if man u are at home it will be fri or sun anyway. 4, 000 max less if all ticket
-
Iv just looked on BBC and Most of the Premiership games are on Sunday, so our game is prob now going to be on Saturday as Utd are at home to Blackburn.
-
Reckon it might be moved to a Sunday kickoff, should be about 4000 there if Millwall sell 1000.

if thats the case you are prob right they will be avoiding sunday which messes things up for tv a bit
-
They have a live game on the Monday night as well
-
I would say this has to be a game considered for the bbc to show live. Alty have the best record out of all Non-league sides, and Millwall were in the final a few years bk, so there's a good case to put forward there. The bbc normally have an FA CUP wkend any way with 3 live games on, if the demands there the will show our clash.
-
we were in a simular postition last season. We drew Havent & Waterlooville away. everyone thought that would be on the telly, but it wasn't. The Havent chairman even budgeted the fact it was on telly, and they nearly went bust.
-
City and Utd away that weekend :o

apparently man u are home on the sunday (3pm to blackburn), so im not too sure if trafford (or manc) police could er police both games properly. I would think it would either be an early or late saturday kick off. im sure our tie will be on TV.

That clip really shows the wonderful tension of the draw. Sometimes its better than the football!

Great chance to test out the new floodlights for a TV match if its a late draw. ;)
