Curzon Ashton predictions
« on: December 09, 2010, 11:24:22 PM »

I'm feeling optimistic about the weather, so let's get back to good old-fashioned football related threads.

Curzon 1-2 Alty

This will be a tough assignment but I reckon we'll do the business. Come on Alty!!!!

1-3 - I think they'll score first, but for once we'll take our chances...and hopefully my first ever away win :D

I think they'll be fast and lively...1-1 and we'll win the replay 3-0

Curzon 1-2 alty, alty scrape through this bad tempered affair thanks to a late winner from wes baynes. After taking the lead after just 90 seconds the unibond 1 title chasers felt hard done by when a nicky clee cross cum shot put alty level on the hour mark and baynes cracked home a harshly awarded 20 yard free kick on 84 mins, att 402 247 from alty

0-0. Stu keeps us in it with a string of crucial saves, and we go on to take the replay by the odd goal in three.

Saw Curzon two rounds ago when they beat FC Halifax Town. Alty will have their work cut out, but hopefully if we take our chances a win ,3-1.

After a dismal run of recent results. Alty show there local opponents the difference in league status and get off to a flying start..

They comfortably win the game 4 - 1 and progress into the draw for the next round.........

Cmon you Alty.

Sadly I will not be able to make the game tomorrow but I shall be thinking of them......

Are all of our loan players available to play in this one?

If the game is on (and it's still touch ang go having looked at Curzon's pitch this morning*) a narrow Alty win 3 - 2

My concern is that we probably haven't trained properly for 2 weeks (i'm guessing BTH has been frozen), so our unfit players will be even more unfit (Hewson, Twiss) and the other lads will have only done gym work (off their own back) so it will be tougher than it probably should be..

* - There was still snow on the curzon pitch this morning, although it's more like slush and if my front garden is anything to go by, it should take a stud....

Baynes definitely is, not sure about the others though.

One thing is for sure, we need all the lads stood together tomorrow and right behind the players.

None of this spreading miles around the ground as far away from each other as possible as its not segregated.

We need to do our bit off the pitch and hope the players do theirs.

Seems a pretty fair assessment for what we face tomorrow.  Gary Lowe has been their manager for 10 years, fair play for that so lets get in there and get through.

COME ON ALTY

Once again some of you kittens come on here with stupid predictions! A close game, a draw, might just win. What a load of bollox! Tomorrow will be our biggest win of the season so far. We will batter them, absolutely batter them.
