CURZON LATEST FORECAST @ 7.35 p.m. today. WEDNESDAY Weather Sunny Max -1 Min -5 THURSDAY Weather Fog Max 0 Min 2 FRIDAY Weather White Cloud Max 7 Min 7 & SATURDAY Heavy Rain  Max 8 Min 3. With us not having far to travel I would imagine a decision will not be made until Friday.

Its a tidy little ground!

if your going by public transport from alty, your best getting the tram to piccadilly gardens then getting the bus from outside wetherspoons to ashton, the ground is behind the sainsburys next to ikea on the ashton moss retai area off lord sheldon way

Not possible. Trams not running after accident in Wetherfield.

I went down for a look last night on my way home, pitch still covered in a couple of inches of snow, doesn't look like any attempt has been made to clear it either.

Forecast is better today/tomorrow, but I can't see it thawing enough for the game to be on.

IF it is on, please note that the main road (near the cricket ground) where you would turn left off Lord Sheldon way is closed because of railway bridge works. There is a diversion in place which takes you up the A627 (past Ikea). Alternatively you can park in the cinema car park or Sainsbury's (but there may be wardens on that limit the stay to 2 hours in both!). Walk from there is about 5 mins to the ground.

Apparently it's going to be about 7 Celcius all day tomorrow. Should be a big help.

so will it be moved to a Tuesday now?

Every time someone says its cold, you cancel all your plans!

They will probably leave the snow on the protect it as daft as it sounds.
