Alty fans of a certain vintage may be interested to hear Fisher Athletic have made the Conference South Play offs and are at home to Hampton and Richmond Borough on Tueday night (at Dulwich Hamlet's ground where they play) I shall be going along with a mate who obviously for that club is a Millwall ST holder. If they do win them, how average gates of 250 or so, not having their own ground and the ground they do play in having about 400 seats will sit I don't know. I hope they make it though an then IF we do get that reprieve then I will have an away game a 10 minute walk from my front door next season!

Good spot SLA, however as an even further SLA I know The Beveree, Hampton's ground is miles off the standard required. One way in and out two turnstiles. Interesting days.

Additionally having visited Dulwich in recent years despite the ground being merely 13-14 years old its in a right old state, seats supports rusting etc.

I seem to recall that we had a pretty dreadful record against Fisher Athletic when we played them back in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

We couldn't even beat them (or indeed, score a goal against them) during the 1990/91 season with the likes of McKenna and Showler in our ranks.

In fact, the only occasion that I can remember Alty defeating The Fish was the third replay of an FA Trophy marathon tie back in 1988.
