It could be that tonights game was off with Saturdays in mind.

Rumours of a large following from York on their messageboard which would help the coffers no end.

Its a shame because I knew of a few guys who intended going tonight who dont normally watch Alty. I reckon they could be convinced to go to the York game?  Im taking 4 new potential fans as it is. We all need to bring one extra fan on Saturday and with York bringing a few it could exceed 1800 mark !

I wonder how far their away fans got when they were told the match was off?

There are alot of City fans coming over,I reckon 700+,what is the pitch like at present, bearing in mind there is alot more rain forecast for the next couple of days?.The fixture at Alty is designated as a jolly boys outing, and we do not want it off!!

That's what I thought as well but apparently it was very waterlogged on Tuesday morning when the decision was taken to call the Thailand match off.

I live near the ground and the water table is high as the local pitch is under some water. Not been like this for sometime.

We need a respite from the rain.
